NYC Scrapbook

    I'm truly honored to be a volunteer at Nino's.  This is currently my third evening spent with new friends and associates.  One would believe the atmosphere to be somber, but it's quite the opposite.  I'm touched always by the sincerity of the rescue workers as they thank us for what we're doing.  However, it's us who should be thanking them.  Without their tireless dedication the face of this disaster would be dramatically different.  I only wish I didn't have to be here, under these circumstances.  I've never been more proud to be a New Yorker.
